Andre Clausen is the head teacher & founder of Bolder English. He graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in History. He also studied International Affairs, French, Italian and Creative Writing. In 2010 he attended UCLA’s esteemed Writer’s Program under the guidance of published author Ron Alexander. He began teaching English at the prestigious Berlitz International Language center in Singapore in 2010. He launched Bolder English in 2012.
Adam Hall, Ph.D., attended Oberlin College and San Francisco State University in the United States. He also holds an M.A. in Renaissance Studies from University of Warwick, England, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from Ghent University, Belgium. Adam continues to research Shakespeare’s use of language and also the spiritual elements of his plays. He is one of our elite scholars and channels his rich knowledge to provide a one-of-a-kind teaching experience.
Andrea Good studied Anthropology and Languages at the University of New Mexico. She has lived and worked in various countries including Spain, China, France, Nepal and Malaysia. While in Japan she ran her own English School for students of all ages for over 20 years. In 2015 she moved back to the USA and settled in Ashland, Oregon. She encourages students to describe eloquently their careers, lifestyles, interests and culture. She then imparts specific grammar rules & vocabulary, and pronunciation exercises.
Evan Clary, MPhil, M.S., attended Amherst College in Massachusetts, the University of Oxford in the UK, Charles University in Prague, and Loyola University-New Orleans. He is an experienced English teacher and department leader from some of America’s top private high schools. His academic interests include Milton, the fiction of the American South and critical theory. He employs all forms of traditional English instruction, particularly grammar, with a clear & effective modern approach.
